New Patient Welcome Letters

Welcome letters are automatically generated and mailed the day the patient comes in. Patients will generally receive the letters within 3 days.^[1] Welcome letters are sent home, phone calls to parents are made, back-to-school information nights are held, and frequent newsletters are sent home, all in an attempt to open the lines of communication. These are not only informative, but they help set the stage for open dialog down the road.^[2] Welcome letters are posted on the Club House front doors, just follow the instructions. ^[3]

Welcome Letters are on their way (by email or by the postal service), and payments are being processed! Please look closely at your welcome letters, and if you see any errors, please contact Screech at 815-933-3011 ASAP to make the correction.^[4] Welcome letters are the first contact students have with their online class and guide students to the Home Page of their WebCT course. Welcome letters contain important information such as login information, contact information, and URLs to course orientations, technical assistance, and the Distance Learning Department.^[5] Welcome letters are an indication of quality and value. When there are new recruits or clientele added to a company, college or even the family, they expect to be welcomed to the new place.^[6]
